PVD III to drill Apsara wells

Singapore's KrisEnergy has hired a PV Drilling jack-up rig to undertake drilling operations on the Apsara development offshore Cambodia. KrisEnergy said that a Letter of Award has been sealed with PV Drilling for the PV Drilling III (PVD III) jack-up rig. The unit has been hired to drill five development wells on the Apsara Mini-Phase 1A development. PVD III is a KFELS MOD V B class jack-up rig. The 2009-built rig is capable of operating in water depths up to 122m (400ft).
