MISC posts Q2 profit dip

Malaysia's MISC recorded a decline in net profit in Q2 2020 due to the effects related to the Covid-19 pandemic, although the company's LNG business is on the rise. MISC's US $71.4m net profit dipped by 25% year-on-year. The company attributed the decline mainly due to lower revenue in its heavy engi-neering segment as the Covid-19 pandemic con-tinues to hit the whole industry.
