Exploration activity on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) has declined but output will be main- tained for the time being, in spite of the corona outbreak and the decline in oil price, reports the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). At the same time, companies have announced and initiated several measures that could have long-term consequences for production and over- all resource extraction.
