JOGMEC. INPEX OK Kashagan Deal

Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp (JOGMEC) said it will provide equity financing to INPEX North Caspian Sea (INCS), which holds a 7.56% equity interest in Kazakhstan's Kashagan project. Located in the Caspian Sea, the Kashagan field with 9- to 13-billion bbls of recoverable oil has achieved stable production since Oct. 2016. The Kashagan project is operated by North Caspian Operating Co. (NCOC) on behalf of a consortium of national and international oil companies including INPEX.
