Chevron has confirmed media reports that it is considering selling its 9.57% stake in Azerbaijan’s Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) offshore oil field complex.A statement from Chevron stated Tuesday that, as part of a review of the firm’s portfolio of assets, “we have decided to initiate the process of marketing, with a view to a potential sale of our Chevron affiliate interests in the Azeri Chirag and Deepwater Guneshli (ACG) project and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline."
