Petrobras Pre-Salt FPSO Begins Production

Petrobras and Royal Dutch Shell have initiated production from the P-69 floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel at Brazil’s Lula field in the offshore pre-salt formation. The FPSO works in Brazil’s Santos Basin in the extreme south of Lula, 290 km (180 miles) off the coast of Rio de Janeiro at a depth of 2,150 meters (7,050 feet).
