Chevron Sees ‘Strong Interest’in North Sea Fields

Chevron is seeing plenty of interest in a group of seven central North Sea fields it put up for auction in July,the US company’s president for Europe,Eurasia and the Middle East said (OD Jul.5’18).In an exclusive interview with Energy Intelligence on Monday,Todd Levy said Chevron is committed to improving its North Sea assets,but it cannot refuse good offers.That includes Norwegian Equinor’s recent deal to acquire Chevron’s 40% operated interest in the Rosebank deepwater project west of the Shetland Islands (IOD Oct.2’18).
