Gazprom Keeps Borrowing Plan Despite Legal Troubles

Apart from a suspended foreign-currency bond placement, Gazprom’s continuing legal spat with Ukraine’s Naftogaz is having no impact on its investment and borrowing plans, the Russian company said Friday. The current borrowing plan is expected to cover 33% of state-controlled Gazprom’s record 1.279 trillion ruble ($18.8 billion) investment program, which is mainly focused on major gas export pipelines — Power of Siberia, Nord Stream 2 and Turk Stream.
