Iran is pushing hard to sell its crude ahead of Nov. 4, when strict US sanctions come into effect, slashing its official prices last week for October-loading cargoes to Europe, where refiners are cutting back their Iranian supplies to avoid being penalized. But while some may continue lifting cargoes until the last moment, imports are set to dwindle in the coming weeks, amid fast fading hopes that Washington will grant sanctions waivers.
