Moscow and Beijing aim to finalize a deal for Russia’s Gazprom to supply 30 Bcm/yr of gas from West Siberia to western China by the end of this year, Dmitry Kozak, Russian deputy prime minister in charge of the energy complex, said Monday. "We have also set a task to sign, if needed, an intergovernmental agreement,” he said following a meeting of the Russian-Chinese commission on trade and economic cooperation in Moscow.
