Serica Adds to UK North Sea Haul

UK-listed Serica Energy announced on Tuesday that it is set to buy Marubeni's interests in the Bruce and Keith fields in the North Sea, taking its stakes in the UK assets to 98% and 100%, respectively. The deal comes on the heels of Serica's agreement to purchase BHP's stakes in the two fields, as well as having earlier agreed to buy stakes from BP and Total, plus BP's 50% interest in the interlinked Rhum gas field (IOD Nov.6'18). BP and Total will each retain a 1% stake in Bruce.
