Poland Lines Up Debut UAE Oil Shipment

Poland is gearing up to receive its first-ever crude oil shipment from the United Arab Emirates, in a further sign that Russia's grip on oil flows to Northwest Europe is weakening. According to trading and shipping sources, the Supreme tanker, chartered by Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) is due to offload a 130,000 ton cargo of Murban crude at the Polish port of Gdansk at the end of November. They say the cargo will be picked up by Poland's top refiner, PKN Orlen, and processed at its 330,000 barrel per day inland Plock refinery (IOD Oct.29'18).
