Turkey Prepares to Rev Up Southern Corridor Gas Pipeline

First gas from Phase 2 of the BP-operated Shah Deniz project in Azerbaijan is to set to start flowing in June across Turkey via the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (Tanap), which will run 1,850 kilometers westward to the Turkish-Greek border, and provide a key source of new supply for Southern and Central Europe (IOD Jan.8’18).
