Korea’s Iran Imports Continue Plunge

South Korea’s imports of Iranian crude continued to plunge in March, continuing a trend so far in 2018. Korean imports of Saudi crude also fell in March, although this was likely the result of planned maintenance at a Saudi-linked refinery. Korean imports of Iranian crude plummeted by 224,000 b/d year-over-year in March to 374,000 b/d — making up more than half of the 422,000 b/d plunge in total Korean imports last month.
