Egypt Announces Two New Bid Rounds

The Egyptian Petroleum Ministry announced plans for two new bid licensing rounds in 2018 on Monday (IOD May16’18). State Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. will offer 16 permits — the largest auction in its history, the ministry said. Thirteen blocks are located in the Mediterranean deep waters while three more concessions will be offshore the Nile Delta.
