Kosmos Drills Dry Hole in Senegal

Kosmos Energy has drilled a dry hole at the Requin Tigre-1 exploration well in Senegal, the third successive dry well drilled offshore Senegal-Mauritania by the US independent. The well was the last in a four-well campaign targeting prospects in large basin-floor structures, with the aim of finding liquid oil to complement huge gas discoveries that now amount to a gross resource of 40 Tcf.
