Swiss Investigate Bank Ties to PDV Fraud

Switzerland's financial regulator Finma is investigating several Swiss banks over possible links to fraudulent activities carried out at Venezuelan state oil firm Petroleos de Venezuela (PDV). A Finma spokesperson tells International Oil Daily that the regulator "is clarifying at a number of banks whether and to what extent they were involved" in illicit behavior, although he would not name the institutions.
