摘要

A political agreement to allow a full restart of Libyan oil production and exports is still being negotiated. A solution to Libya's civil war had appeared to emerge last week as both sides sought a cease-fire, raising the promise of an end to an oil blockade that has lasted more than six months (IOD Aug.21'20). Rebel Libyan National Army (LNA) forces have yet to sign off on a deal that would lead to a full restart of the Opec member's oil production. "[For now] it looks like they hate the agreement and it does not look like they will restart production,” says an industry source. Libya's National Oil Corp. has supported a deal but awaits confirmation.
