Oil production in the US continued to sink through mid-May to its lowest point since the fall of 2018, according to estimates from the federal government’s Energy Information Administration (EIA). The agency’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report, published Wednesday, showed that US crude output fell by roughly 100,000 barrels per day in the week ended May 15 to 11.5 million b/d.
