Nigeria Slashes Official Selling Prices

Nigeria has cut official selling prices for its crude oil to historic lows in a bid to clear a large overhang of April-loading cargoes before the May program starts trading. Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC) slashed around $5 per barrel off flagship grades Escravos and Forcados, and more than $4.90/bbl off Qua Iboe and Bonny light, setting grades like Qua Iboe at their steepest discounts in more than a decade.
