The expansion of the Port of Fujairah is on hold, with investment in additional petroleum storage capacity at a standstill because of the current challenging market environment, the port’s top official said. "Our expansion will continue when tank expansions continue,” the Port of Fujairah’s general manager, Capt. Mousa Murad, told Energy Intelligence in a telephone interview. Fujairah, one of the emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, is the world’s second-largest marine fuel hub.
