Equinor Wins Big in Norway Round

Norway has awarded 69 offshore licenses to 28 oil and gas companies in its latest upstream licensing round covering acreage in pre-defined areas (IOD May30'19). In an announcement on Tuesday, Norway's Petroleum and Energy Ministry said it awarded 33 licenses in the North Sea, 23 licenses in the Norwegian Sea and 13 licenses across the Norwegian Barents Sea.
