India to Shun Chinese Oil Tankers

India’s state-owned oil companies have decided not to charter oil tankers from companies with links to China amid strained ties between New Delhi and Beijing. However, the move may not have much impact on oil flows as the state-owned refiners are mandated by federal laws to buy crude on a f.o.b. basis and have to favor local shippers in their tenders.
