Kuwait to Store Crude in Japan

Kuwait Petroleum Corp. (KPC) has signed a deal with Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Meti) to store crude in the Asian nation, already a key buyer of the Opec member’s oil. State-owned KPC will store some 3.14 million bbl of crude in Japan, the company’s deputy managing director of international marketing operations, Ghadeer al-Qadfan, said in a statement to Kuwait’s Kuna news agency.
