Senior executives at India’s Reliance Industries say refineries will have to be ever more tightly integrated with petrochemicals production in the future to meet the challenges of global demand for gasoline and gasoil peaking within 10 years or so, reflecting a shift toward electric vehicles, ride-sharing and other transportation innovations.
