Eni Extends Gulf of Suez Oil Discovery

Eni said an appraisal well has encountered additional resources near an oil discovery it announced earlier this year in the Gulf of Suez, offshore Egypt. The Italian major, which presented its third-quarter earnings on Friday, said it will complete the well and bring it on stream within days at an initial rate of about 5,000 barrels per day.
