Gazprom Neft Using Russian Tech

Russia’s third-largest crude oil producer Gazprom Neft has started using Russian-made equipment to carry out offshore seismic work. The move is in line with Russia’s larger import replacement strategy aimed at easing the country’s dependence on foreign equipment and technologies on the back of Western sanctions that currently ban foreign firms from participating in Arctic offshore, deepwater and shale oil projects.
