Multiple supportive factors have failed to lift Asia-Pacific spot LNG prices out of the doldrums in the past two weeks, underscoring the pressure they face from brimming inventories and a global supply glut (IOD Nov.22’19). Energy Intelligence assessed spot prices for Northeast Asian deliveries in one to two months at $5.40 per million Btu this week, unchanged from the previous week but down 38.3% from $8.75/MMBtu a year ago.
