ConocoPhillips has insisted that it is committed to the Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) project despite reports that it is looking to exit the scheme. "ConocoPhillips remains committed to its investment in APLNG and has no plans to sell its 37.5% shareholding at this time,” a spokesperson said. Last week, the Australian newspaper reported that Conoco had been taking a close look at its investment in APLNG to determine whether it should exit the project (IOD Nov.21' 19).
