Ukraine’s stockpile of natural gas reached 20 billion cubic meters, the highest in nine years, officials at state-owned Naftogaz Ukrainy said on Wednesday. Ukraine amassed an additional 3 Bcm-4 Bcm during this year’s injection season out of fear that Russia may cut transit flows in January once the current transmission contract with Ukraine expires (IOD Apr.10’19).
