Egypt Oil Output to Rise

Egypt’s oil output should reach 720,000 b/d by 2020, according to state Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. (EGPC). EGPC CEO Abed Ezz el-Regal said current output was 675,000 b/d due to production increases over 2017-18, local paper Amwal al-Ghad reported. The state firm is trying to maintain output at a minimum of 675,000 b/d as it intensifies its exploration efforts.
