China’s CNOOC has farmed into two exploration licenses offshore West Africa’s Guinea-Bissau in a deal with privately held Svenska Petroleum Exploration. The Chinese state player is acquiring 55.55% of the Sinapa and Esperanca licenses ahead of exploration drilling planned for early 2020.
