Equinor Reports Echino South Find in North Sea

Equinor announced on Wednesday an oil and gas discovery at the Echino South prospect near the Fram field in a mature area of the Norwegian North Sea. Located in 350 meters of water in Production License 090, Echino South is estimated to hold between 38 million and 100 million barrels of oil equivalent. The discovery adds considerably to the resource base in this part of the North Sea and will probably be tied back to existing infrastructure, Equinor said.
