US Chevron will hold talks with Algerian state Sonatrach next week to discuss shale gas and oil production after its recent takeover of Anadarko (IOD Apr.16’19). "Chevron is a big company and we are happy to have it here with us in Algeria as it will bring know- how and expertise,” Sonatrach CEO Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour told Reuters.
