Russian state-run natural gas giant Gazprom dismissed three top managers on Monday,including Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev,who has long been in charge of export operations.Gazprom did not disclose the reasons behind the decision,which might signal future changes in the company’s export policy.It is now unclear who will supervise exports instead of Medvedev at a time when Gazprom faces geopolitical tensions and tougher competition in Europe and is preparing to start pipeline gas supplies to China on Dec.1(IOD Feb.18’19).
