Global benchmark Brent crude’s premium to its US counterpart sagged on Monday to its lowest level in 13 months. October Brent traded on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in London settled up 4c at $58.57 per barrel, while its corresponding West Texas Intermediate (WTI) contract on Nymex rose 48c to close at $54.85/bbl.
