Investors are sending a multitude of conflicting signals to major oil companies these days and the only point they seem to agree on is the need to maintain healthy dividend payments, says Royal Dutch Shell CEO Ben van Beurden. "There is total inconsistency in what investors tell you except for one thing: Can you please sustain the dividend?” Ben van Beurden told Energy Intelligence’s Oil & Money conference Wednesday. “And that is fine. We have every intention to do so."
