Papua New Guinea' s Petroleum Minister Kerenga Kua has expressed “disappointment” over the progress of negotiations with Exxon Mobil about expanding the PNG LNG project, saying the US major “refused to consider the state' s proposed terms." Exxon and its partners have been negotiating with the government about the terms for development of the P' nyang gas field that would feed a third train at the Exxon-operated PNG LNG liquefaction plant, which started production in 2014.
