Output at the UK's biggest oil field, Buzzard in the North Sea, has fallen because of production problems, operator Nexen said Wednesday. "The Buzzard platform is currently operating at reduced rates while we investigate a problem in the production system; the impact has been for a relatively short period of time," it said. "The investigation is at a very early stage and it is too soon to give an estimate of when full production will be resumed. There is no safety or environmental implications to this problem."
