Upstream costs for the oil and gas in- dustry have regained upward momentum in the past six months after recording substantial decreases in 2009, according to the latest data from IHS Cera. “The fact that overall upstream costs are trending upwards points to the increase in oil and gas activities worldwide,” said IHS Cera Chairman Daniel Yergin.
