Vietnamese IPO Falls Short

Petrovietnam Gas (PV Gas), a subsidiary of state Petrovietnam, has raised 1,890 bil- lion dong ($97 million) in an initial public offering (IPO) of its shares on the Ho Chi Minh stock exchange - below the $152 million targeted last week. The IPO attracted limited interest, with investors taking just over 60.9 mil- lion shares - less than two-thirds of the shares on offer - according to the stock exchange.
