Tatneft has become the latest Russian pro- ducer to announce it boosted reserves last year. The company, which focuses on the re- public of Tatarstan, said total proved oil re- serves grew by 9% to 6.141 billion bbl as of Dec. 31, 2009 from 5.625 billion bbl a year earlier. Tatneft said its gas reserves were negli- gible, according to an an audit carried out by US consultancy Miller and Lents under US Se- curities and Exchange Commission standards.
