Workers voted Wednesday to end an eight-day strike at Total's refineries in France, after a recommendation from the CGT labor union. It will take a few days to resume output at the affected plants. The workers at Total's plants had embarked on the open-ended industrial action last week to protest the French oil giant's plan to cut refining capacity in France, as Total mulls plans to turn part of its Flanders refinery, near Dunkirk in northern France, into a storage unit and training center.
