Crude, Product Prices Drop but Technical Supports Hold

Crude and oil product prices fell Thursday after the release of a weak US jobs report. However, prices held key technical support levels which suggests that the market’s recent upward momentum may continue. Nymex September crude futures closed at $82.01 per barrel, down 46￠ for the day. In London on ICE Futures, September Brent dipped 59￠ to settle at $81.61. Nymex September gasoline finished at $2.1644 per gallon, falling 1.06￠. Nymex September heating oil fell 1.54￠ to $2.1868.
