Greenpeace protestors have attached a survival pod to the anchor of Chevron's Stena Carron drillship in the Shetlands, which they say will allow them to survive for up to a month protesting against deepwater drilling. The ship is station- ary ?but with its anchor up ?in the Bressay Sound in the UK Shetland Is- lands. Stena Carron had been due to sail for the Lagavulin oil field in the Atlantic Margin to start drilling. Chevron is com- mitted to drilling Lagavulin before the end of November.
