Sinopec Develops Sichuan Gas

Sinopec is proving up gas reserves in China's Sichuan province to support its Sichuan-East China natural gas project. The state giant said last week that, at the end of 2009, it had proved reserves of 451.8 Bcm (15.95 Tcf) in northeastern Sichuan, while proved, probable and possible reserves totaled 1.49 Tcm (52.6 Tcf).
