License Sought to Build UAE Nuclear Plant

Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Nuclear Ener- gy Corporation (Enec) has applied for final approval to begin construction of the UAE's first two nuclear power plants - one year after awarding a $20 billion contract to con- struct four nuclear plants to a consortium led by Korean Electric Power Corp. (Kepco).
