Brazil’s state energy giant Petrobras said on Thursday it had agreed to buy Italian firm Eni’s 100% stake in Brazilian gas distribution company Gas Brasiliano Distribuidora (GBD) for $250 million. GBD distributes gas in the northwest re- gion of Sao Paulo, Brazil’s most populous state and the industrial center of the country.
