Revenues Rise at GDF Suez

France's GDF Suez increased sales revenue by 16.6% year-on-year to ?83.1 billion ($106 billion) in 2008, of which 86% was generated in Europe, 6% in North America, and 8% in the rest of the world. Profit figures are not released until later this month. High and volatile prices were among the key drivers behind the increase, alongside continued development of the gas and power businesses.
