摘要

Graphical abstract Three new mixed ligand CuI-complexes [Cu2(L)2(μ-I)2)(PPh3)2]2 (1), [Cu2(μ-L) (μ-Br)2(PPh3)2. CH2Cl2] (2. CH2Cl2 ) and [Cu2(μ-L)(μ-Cl)2(PPh3)2] (3) of a polydentate azino-pyridyl ligand L and triphenylphosphine have been synthesized and thoroughly characterized. Their DFT and Hirshfeld studies as well as photophysical and electrochemical properties have also been reported. Display Omitted Highlights ? Synthesis of three ternary copper(I) complexes 1, 2 and 3 of a azino-pyridyl ligand. ? Complex 1 is a dimer while 2 and 3 are 1D polymers. ? These complexes are photoluminescent. ?
